Ameera Horriyat Speaks to Investment Club

The Investment Club heard from Ameera Horriyat, an adjunct professor and a member of the undergraduate admissions committee at Columbia University, who is very experienced in the finance industry, having worked in nonprofit, private, and public sectors. Ameera's professional experience includes working in Wall Street, the United Nations, and the U.S. Pentagon. Her work has been recognized by the United Nations and she was named an 'NYC-13 Hero' by Congressman Adriano Espailat. Maeera spoke about how to start investing early, plan long term goals and objectives, how to invest and save for current and future needs to retire comfortably.
