Banned Books Week at Palmer Trinity
Palmer Trinity School's Matheson Library took part in this year's Banned Book Week with updated library displays throughout the library illustrating those book titles which have made the American Library Association's (ALA) yearly list of banned books.
Library displays included online interactive techboard displays, informative posters and shelf-top displays of popular childhood classics as well as some more recent titles - including some which have recently appeared on our yearly Summer Reading List.
PTS proudly promotes the ALA's 2023 theme - "Let Freedom Read" and encourages our students to be better informed about censorship and to take action to protect our freedom to read all year long.
